BIOGRAPHY
Andrew Bate’s body of work has been critically acclaimed all over the country, from his singer songwriter beginnings to his most recent score for Rogue Theatre’s ‘Pathway to the Red Sun’. He is a seasoned performer and self proclaimed “creator” and is never happier than when he is obsessing over a new piece of work. He is proud to have co-founded Quilt and is excited for all the possibilities it brings.

Isley is a compulsive writer of all genres, with a focus on literature for performance, whether that be theatre, film or poetry. She is known for giving energetic performances of material which is confessional, witty and unflinchingly honest. Her work has been enthusiastically received, from her support for Hollie Roger’s 2008 tour, her reimagining of Aristophanes’ ‘Lysistrata’ and her solo shows across the UK and abroad. With her BA Hons in Drama snug in her pocket she looks forward to writing with and for many other talented artists through Quilt.

BIOGRAPHY
Philipp is a quiet Austrian with experience in many art and theatre related disciplines. He has tried almost everything and liked all of it. These fields include photography, directing, and lighting & sound design. He has worked professionally as assistant director with Henry Mason and His Majesties Players on several productions, including ‘A Comedy of Errors’ and ‘As You Like It’. His latest project ‘The Brother of Sleep’ had audiences running for their lives and screaming for more. Other recent projects include Director of Photography for ‘Mirror Love’.

BIOGRAPHY
Grace takes great pleasure in creating stylised pieces of work injected with her unique sense of humour. She has created album artwork for Robert Sherman and Paddy Johnston’s Love Explosion as well as advertisement illustrations for a variety of stage productions. She also likes fine art and life drawing and has thoroughly enjoyed working with Isley and Andrew on the artwork for Quilt.
